| Prime Minister Chretien and French President Jacques Chirac vacationed together with their wives in the Eastern townships of Quebec. Their holidaying went interupted despite a killer heat wave that blew through France, and a huge power outage that left vast areas of Ontario with out electricity for many hours. |
