| Golf has featured heavily in Canadian politics during the Chretien era. One of the biggest controversies of this Prime Minister's time in office centered around golf: Shawinigate -- the storm around Jean Chretien's involvement with a golf course in his Quebec riding. The Prime Minister was an avid golfer. He has played several times with former US President Bill Clinton. (CBC) |
