Santa Claus came to town on Saturday
First came the snowflakes, then came the smiling children followed by their shivering moms and dads.

A brass band belted out Frosty The Snowman and the annual Santa Claus Parade was under way.

Mayor Bob Wade led the pack, waving to the crowds of children from a black Mercedes.

"He's the guy who raised our taxes -- almost double," grumbled one man as the children within earshot grinned at the mayor.

Ronald McDonald, Grimace and Gremlin drove by in two convertibles.

"Are you excited about seeing Santa?" Ronald asked.

"Ya!" screamed the kids.

Marching bands and an Elvis impersonator kept the toes tapping, and brilliant floats covered in lights and winter wonderland scenes kept the mood cheery.

Mrs. Claus arrived in style, perched on the back seat of a red convertible. She looked smashing in her white ruffled bonnet and red dress. The kids knew that if Mrs. Claus was here, her husband couldn't be far behind. Source.
